Endermology is an intensive connective tissue massage using an LPG device. The cylinders of this device pick up a skin fold and unroll it in slow and regular movements. This firmly massages the skin, subcutis and underlying connective tissue. The structure of the connective tissue and blood flow improves. The massage stimulates the drainage of lymphatic fluid and waste products. It initiates a natural process whereby the skin and connective tissue becomes healthier and stronger.
Even though endermology treatment with the LPG device is touted as "painless," we find in practice that slight pain sensation is experienced during the first treatments. Moreover, it may happen that small blue spots appear after the first treatment. This depends on the sensitivity of the skin.
